The short version

An empty TV guide usually means the app has not downloaded the guide data yet, or is set to the wrong time zone. Update the guide from the app's settings, set it to update when the app starts, and check that the time zone matches yours. A few channels simply publish no guide.

  • First load can take a few minutes
  • Wrong times are almost always the time-zone setting

How do I fix it?

  1. Open the app's TV-guide settings and tap update.
  2. Set the guide to update on every start.
  3. Check the time zone or time offset (Eastern, Pacific and so on).
  4. If one channel shows "no information", that channel publishes no guide.

Still empty after an hour?

Some apps download the guide only once a day, so a guide added in the evening may stay blank until the next refresh. Look in the app's settings for an "update EPG" or "refresh guide" button and press it while on a good connection. Check the time zone setting too: a wrong zone shifts every programme by hours and can make the grid look empty. If only a few channels have no guide, that is normal for some international channels. If every channel is blank after a manual refresh, send us the app name and a screenshot and we check the guide link on our side.

Questions people ask

Why are the times an hour off?

The app's time offset does not match your zone, often after a daylight-saving change.

Do you provide a guide URL?

Yes, with your login. Most apps fill it in automatically.

Why do some channels never show a guide?

Some broadcasters publish no guide data. Nothing on your side will fix it.
