Why is following the Leafs on TV so confusing?
Because no single channel has every game. Rogers' Sportsnet holds the national package, and the Leafs' regional games are divided between Sportsnet and Bell's TSN. Hockey Night in Canada on CBC ended after 2025-26, so Saturday games are now Sportsnet's.
What about blackouts?
Sportsnet says it turned about 150 formerly regional games into national ones for 2026-27, which reduces blackouts outside a team's region. Inside the Leafs' region, which covers most of Ontario, regional rules still apply.
Where do Leafs fans watch outside Toronto?
Brampton, Mississauga, Hamilton, Kitchener-Waterloo and London all fall in the Leafs' broadcast region. Our city pages cover each one.
Questions people ask
