The short version
IBO Player is a TV-set app: Samsung's Tizen, LG's webOS and Android TV all have it. After installing it, note the MAC address it shows, then add your playlist on IBO Player's website against that MAC. After the free period, its maker asks for an activation fee on each device.
- Login added by MAC address on the website
- Activation fee paid to the app maker
| App | Runs on | Pricing model | Login type |
|---|---|---|---|
| IBO Player | Samsung (Tizen), LG (webOS), Android TV | TV app with a device activation fee after a free period | M3U, Xtream Codes |
Setup
Install from your TV's store, open the app, write down the MAC and device key, and add the playlist we send on the app's website.
Before you pay the activation fee
Use the free period to check that IBO Player runs smoothly on your exact TV model: open the guide, switch channels quickly and play a movie from the library. Older TVs can be slow with large playlists. If it works well, the activation is per device, so a family with two TVs pays it twice. If it feels slow, try Smart One or a small streaming box instead before paying for anything.
