Portugal or Brazil?

Older families from the Azores and mainland Portugal follow Benfica, Porto and Sporting; newer Brazilian arrivals watch Brazilian novelas and the Brasileirão.

Testing the Portuguese group during your trial

Start with the channels you would really watch on a weeknight: the news at dinner time and the football on weekends. Portuguese league matches often start in the afternoon Lisbon time, so they land in the morning or at lunch in Ontario and very early in British Columbia. Brazilian games come later in the day. Add your channels to favourites so they sit at the top of the guide, and check that the programme titles match what is on screen. If a channel you grew up with is missing, ask us in the chat before you pay; we would rather tell you than sell you the wrong plan.
