The short version
StbEmu is an Android app that pretends to be a MAG set-top box, so it can log in to Stalker portals. You enter the portal URL, choose a MAG model in the profile, and we register the MAC address it shows. It is useful when a service only offers portal logins.
- Emulates MAG boxes on Android
- Login by portal URL and MAC
| App | Runs on | Pricing model | Login type |
|---|---|---|---|
| StbEmu | Android, Android TV | Emulates a MAG set-top box for Stalker-portal logins | Stalker portal (MAC) |
When should I use StbEmu?
Only if you prefer the MAG layout. Canada 4K IPTV also offers Xtream logins, which work with TiviMate.
Practical tips
StbEmu imitates a set-top box, so its settings want a portal address plus a device MAC, not the usual username and password pair. Copy both exactly as we send them. It works best on Android TV boxes with a remote that has colour buttons, which the app uses for shortcuts. For most people a regular player like TiviMate is simpler; StbEmu is useful when a service only offers portal logins.
